She was not wearing a collar and it is unknown if she is microchipped. Her people said they would call the vet where they got Peach to confirm if she is microchipped. </span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">Peach got out of the house by accident four days ago when the back door leading to the backyard was left open by a roommate. It was not known that Peach was outside until the morning when her people looked for her in the large house and could not find her. It was not unusual for her to hide during the night, so they didn't assume something was wrong until the morning. </span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">Once it was known she was not in the house, an extensive search of the yard and surrounding neighborhood and other houses was performed. However, no sightings were found during the search or the following days. </span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">The search we found led away from the house from a neighbor's yard where there was a hole from Peach's yard. The scent went down the driveway and then turned right and down the street. The track then went throughout San Francisco and eventually into Nob Hill, where the search was stopped by Peach's people at four hours. It appears by the track that Peach was picked up and carried away. The track was predominately a human walking away from the area. Many times when transient or homeless people visit a neighborhood to look for recycling in trash cans, cats get picked up and carried away for companionship. </span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">They said they would continue to search for her and make a visit to Animal Control to update the flyer and check their found cat rooms</span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;"><a href="https://strava.app.link/FfGN1yaboGb">https://strava.app.link/FfGN1yaboGb</a><br /></span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;"><br /></span></p>Renting With Rexhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02071118983927530284noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5900651060022371314.post-81840259456664422132024-01-12T12:18:00.000-08:002024-01-12T12:20:36.553-08:00"Belka," DMH, Tabby with White, Foster City<p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgT-fN3OL-pnReHOqidzEnWkOWbPPSmX3oXIG4H1TfENvQtuWnk8Z6O7VLRRe6n9oJnX0KHNuTU2hntcHo9OcBHV5T5g0CcqBUhcZhf0BQnFXGmmZBn5g6qxrd672mXYDVcGKfqf6PJu8q5lA0VOD-tQ7j3gwnHOZetf2VBIAHD9dQrinKQLXhIHoRIpsE/s1108/1000005758.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="831" data-original-width="1108" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgT-fN3OL-pnReHOqidzEnWkOWbPPSmX3oXIG4H1TfENvQtuWnk8Z6O7VLRRe6n9oJnX0KHNuTU2hntcHo9OcBHV5T5g0CcqBUhcZhf0BQnFXGmmZBn5g6qxrd672mXYDVcGKfqf6PJu8q5lA0VOD-tQ7j3gwnHOZetf2VBIAHD9dQrinKQLXhIHoRIpsE/s320/1000005758.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br />Belka is 12 years old and went missing on January 5 when she was let out at night and didn't come back. When he went missing on New Years Eve around 7 PM he was wearing his collar and ID tags and an AirTag GPS indicator. His person told me his eyesight and hearing were becoming diminished. </p><p>He got out of the yard by accident when his person came home and drove the car into the fenced yard where the driveway is and Kofi took off without her knowing he was out. An hour later they noticed he wasn't in the house and went out looking for him. </p><p>Later that night around 9 PM they received two pings from his collar and went to that area about 45 minutes from the house. A person also told them they had seen Kofi that night. No other sightings or calls were received. </p><p>I came out to do the search on that following Friday. I arrived at noon and Asia immediately picked up the scent leading out of the yard and eventually to the area of the two pings and sighting in a neighborhood park. The search continued for another three hours around San Carlos, and it was stopped at the four hour mark. We scheduled another time to come back that Sunday morning. </p><p>The next morning early I received a text that Kofi had been found later Friday night after a ping was received by his collar. They went to the location and made contact with the person at home. Kofi was found deceased inside their pool inside their yard. Somehow Kofi made it into the open yard and unfenced pool and fell into the pool. </p>Renting With Rexhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02071118983927530284noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5900651060022371314.post-49127182170817557542022-10-06T13:38:00.001-07:002022-10-07T10:09:08.239-07:00"Cosmo" DSH Grey San Francisco<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgfrPf55ZbnFV69av11ch6VxP2blHfnOLsvlFta-uyD_pvOJxLA9akCQrav4MLPlSVAlrbUWRmwmbOz_E9eDaZHRu1xwZ6o0x4uys54WTZOrCnOrR1_a_N1qarZqdzqChl596M1XP4ZTepBNGedtAr1keTKxmQwcNaRMeDNAOVqx-YstCdwiq0OHjE7/s1058/Cosmo%20San%20Francisco.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1058" data-original-width="794" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgfrPf55ZbnFV69av11ch6VxP2blHfnOLsvlFta-uyD_pvOJxLA9akCQrav4MLPlSVAlrbUWRmwmbOz_E9eDaZHRu1xwZ6o0x4uys54WTZOrCnOrR1_a_N1qarZqdzqChl596M1XP4ZTepBNGedtAr1keTKxmQwcNaRMeDNAOVqx-YstCdwiq0OHjE7/s320/Cosmo%20San%20Francisco.jpeg" width="240" /></a></div><p style="text-align: center;"> <a href="https://strava.app.link/hWu4QbVxUtb">https://strava.app.link/hWu4QbVxUtb</a></p><p style="text-align: center;"></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://strava.app.link/hWu4QbVxUtb"><br /></a></div><div style="text-align: left;">Cosmo is a 10 year old, indoor only, grey DSH with green eyes. Since the trash was picked up the same morning that he went missing, it appears that a transient/homeless person picked up Leo on his rounds of picking through the recycle bins that were put out on the curb. Leo's person confirmed that he is friendly with strangers and will approach them. </span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: medium;"><br /></span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: medium;">Leo can get away from that person at any time and make his way back home, but he will face along the way other territorial animals. His person did put up flyers along the way of the search to alert people. Also, since the search crossed the borders of both Oakland and Berkeley and both have government and private shelters, I recommended that she contact all four shelters to alert Leo of being missing in case he shows up at any of those shelters, in addition to the county shelter in Dublin. </span></div><p></p>Renting With Rexhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02071118983927530284noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5900651060022371314.post-52371635636162653032022-06-26T12:48:00.000-07:002022-06-26T12:48:25.806-07:00"Morty" Chihuahua, Dark Brindle, San Francisco<p> </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEijJbLLRAQp-iRyPofJZXp1EfmV6WCS3HSJYRWNlEbvb0X75MbWXCofrzTuhf7it1Ot102sGVMpSZvdkI28aJLgbMTNysp9hnao_NhWTR2qfIbXWpMvZOhQZ6fz1CAGqqWMyreGaY4Bu4E1qbACv2rJ82PfApd5vYph76_RVlCPbn9keWeTQuOhh7rt/s2245/updated%20M.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2245" data-original-width="1587" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEijJbLLRAQp-iRyPofJZXp1EfmV6WCS3HSJYRWNlEbvb0X75MbWXCofrzTuhf7it1Ot102sGVMpSZvdkI28aJLgbMTNysp9hnao_NhWTR2qfIbXWpMvZOhQZ6fz1CAGqqWMyreGaY4Bu4E1qbACv2rJ82PfApd5vYph76_RVlCPbn9keWeTQuOhh7rt/s320/updated%20M.jpg" width="226" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjqLsLzDFsZWozJBaIvPvT6oRHiZuRoGI9acLVtGPSwduuq26Cog1LAgmMwxb-WncIxJq53nH5VXQWx79pOVW3tfAEZsL-CoopM5cacznENgyUARuBP5v3GM7rXYKOzGQJIjSiN5_WR984EQ7dweFzeJcQaG_k-qY0jRv8PzfUovUmtWJ_HZlk50uGh/s1600/IMG_3992.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="739" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjqLsLzDFsZWozJBaIvPvT6oRHiZuRoGI9acLVtGPSwduuq26Cog1LAgmMwxb-WncIxJq53nH5VXQWx79pOVW3tfAEZsL-CoopM5cacznENgyUARuBP5v3GM7rXYKOzGQJIjSiN5_WR984EQ7dweFzeJcQaG_k-qY0jRv8PzfUovUmtWJ_HZlk50uGh/s320/IMG_3992.jpg" width="148" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://strava.app.link/QcXaKGHdbrb">https://strava.app.link/QcXaKGHdbrb</a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Morty is a four year old dark brindle Chihuahua mix. He went missing on August 18 from his third story apartment. It was initially unclear how he got out of the apartment. All the windows still had their screens on. It was known that the back porch door sometimes doesn't stay closed and it was found open in the middle of the night but quickly closed. The drop to the ground would have landed him onto trees and bushes, which would have prevented injury. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">He is wearing a collar with tags and is microchipped. The microchip company had been informed he is missing. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">We found the track under the porch door and then followed it for over 5 miles in the Embarcadero area of Oakland. The search was stopped at the four hour mark and we walked back. He said he would keep looking for his cat. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">There were both indications of Remy either being by himself or being picked up by a human and carried away. His person did confirm that he is friendly towards strangers and would probably approach a person if in need of help. </div><p style="text-align: center;"><br /></p><p style="text-align: center;"> <a href="https://strava.app.link/1676UHGYUib">https://strava.app.link/1676UHGYUib</a></p>Renting With Rexhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02071118983927530284noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5900651060022371314.post-45574264985645526802021-08-07T17:22:00.005-07:002021-08-07T17:22:50.427-07:00"Mercy," DLH Grey Tabby, Walnut Creek<p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-wtq8-QQ_RSE/YQvjXaA5vJI/AAAAAAAAeec/v4uG5k2RSQUSX9O6CScwKePgo1ptOTDswCLcBGAsYHQ/s1280/IMG_0205.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1280" data-original-width="960" height="320" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-wtq8-QQ_RSE/YQvjXaA5vJI/AAAAAAAAeec/v4uG5k2RSQUSX9O6CScwKePgo1ptOTDswCLcBGAsYHQ/s320/IMG_0205.jpg" width="240" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-iU69bpzWfZk/YQvjgq1pToI/AAAAAAAAeeg/aREqLNOvVOAoXIggqTEhuTciwG1_4E99gCLcBGAsYHQ/s1600/IMG_0863.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="320" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-iU69bpzWfZk/YQvjgq1pToI/AAAAAAAAeeg/aREqLNOvVOAoXIggqTEhuTciwG1_4E99gCLcBGAsYHQ/s320/IMG_0863.jpg" width="240" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-3SaTgZrymog/YQvj0UL23qI/AAAAAAAAees/7l9lfWXW_T0QhF7Gw6YD0KQOc85X6UeUgCLcBGAsYHQ/s1600/IMG_0915.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="320" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-3SaTgZrymog/YQvj0UL23qI/AAAAAAAAees/7l9lfWXW_T0QhF7Gw6YD0KQOc85X6UeUgCLcBGAsYHQ/s320/IMG_0915.jpg" width="240" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://strava.app.link/38aV9h2utib">https://strava.app.link/38aV9h2utib</a><br /></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br /></div><br /> Mercy is a three year old, 10 pound DLH brown tabby. There were many places for resting and going back and forth and all around the centers multiple times. </div><div><br /></div><div>Also, this person has a second cat that is also missing about two months before Mercy went missing, and, also, no sightings have been noted.
