Still missing as of February 16, 2012

Mili is an unspayed, eight year old, brown and grey, Yorkshire Terrier. She is not wearing a collar and she is not microchipped.
There was a sighting of Mili in a person's back yard a couple of days after she went missing. This person did not try to attempt to catch Mili, but instead, just went back into the house. Later, when he saw the flyers in the neighborhood, he called to say that he saw Mili in his back yard.
We went to that yard and Dino did pick up her scent and followed it out and for a couple of miles. We then had a young girl say she saw a dog that looked like Mili being sold by a man on the block where she lives. She directed us to the house where she saw the man go to after leaving her block.
Mili's person did approach the house and asked if they had seen Mili, but none of them did. While she was doing that, I checked the surrounding area and Dino picked up Mili's track leading away from the house.
We followed it for several more miles until Mili's person called off the search as the four hour mark.
She insisted numerous times while on the search and after that Dino was never following Mili's track. She did not believe that her dog would travel so far, and that somebody would not turn a dog into a shelter when they found a dog.
