Shasta is a two year old, red, female pit bull with white feet, white on the chest and a white blaze on her face. She is wearing a blue collar with no ID and she is not microchipped. She was dragging a leash at the time she went missing.
Shasta was being walked by her person and was hit by a car after she stumbled into the street off the curb. Her person let the leash go and Shasta took off. There were several sightings of Shasta after she went missing.
By total coincidence, a neighbor of Shasta's person said he was helping a friend move one night after Shasta had been missing several days. This person said that the friend who he was helping to move had found a dog matching Shasta's description the day they were moving. This neighbor did not know the new address where the person was moving to, but he said he would contact the former landlord to found out the new address.
That was the last I was told about. Shasta's person said he wanted to do a search, but he said he wanted to find out from this person the new address if he could. He said he would call back, but I never heard from him again. I don't know if Shasta was found.
