"Chris," Sheltie, Sable and White, Palo Alto

As of May 20 Chris is still missing.

Chris is a seven year old, sable and white, Shetland Sheepdog. He is wearing a collar with a dog license and he is microchipped.

His person went to a home to visit and let Chris wander around outside. She said that she regularly allows Chris to do this, and he always came back, didn't wander around or she was able to find him.

The only sighting was of Chris at a house a couple of blocks away.

We found the track leading away from the neighborhood and around and around. The track eventually came back to within a few blocks of his home and where he was lost.

The search was called off at the four hour minimum.

Chris' person was convinced that Chris was picked up by somebody and they were holding him inside their home. After the search, she went to the home and asked this person if they had Chris. The woman said there was no possible way she could have Chris because her husband is allergic to dogs and they could not have animals in the home.
