"Chicu," Chihuahua/Terrier mix, White, Pleasanton"

Chicu (pronounced CHEE COO), is a neutered, five pound, all white, Chihuahua mix. He is wearing a purple collar with an ID tag, but he is not microchipped. 

There were no sightings of him after he went missing. 

He had been recently adopted to this new home. They went on a short vacation and had him stay with a nearby relative. This relative let Chicu out to relieve himself at 1 AM that Saturday night, and he took off from the unfenced yard. They said they drove around looking for him, and stayed up for a couple of hours hoping he would come back. 

We found the track that went around almost a couple of times in the completely gated and fenced track of small mansions, even going past their home twice. 

Eventually the track left the gated community and went out to the main road where it turned left and went all the way to the area of Shadow Cliffs Regional Park. It was here that the search was called off at the four hour mark.

They said they would continue to look for Chicu.
