"Maddie," Japanese Chin/Brussell Griffon Mix, Black, Campbell

Still Missing as of November 2, 2014

Maddie is a nine year old, black, 11 pound Brussells Griffon/Japanese Chin mix with a short tail. When she went missing she was not wearing her collar, but she was microchipped. 

She was last seen on her front lawn with her housemate and her family. They were looking at a car on the driveway, and when they checked on Maddie a couple of minutes later, she was not on the lawn with the other dog. They immediately checked the area in all directions, but could not find her. 

Her family was convinced that someone had picked up Maddie and had walked away with her. 

There were no sightings of Maddie until the day I arrived for the search. That morning a woman had called after seeing the flyer a couple of miles away and seeing a dog that looked just like Maddie in the parking lot of her apartment complex the night before. This was over four days after Maddie went missing. The woman said she attempted to help Maddie and catch her, but Maddie ran away. 

We went to the location and Dino picked up the scent leading out of the area. We followed the track for several hours until it was called off due to pure exhaustion on everyone's part.

"Dulcina," Calico, Vallejo

Dulcina is a 10 year old, indoor/outdoor, calico Domestic Mediumhair. When she went missing she was not wearing a collar and was not microchipped. 

She was last seen by her person around 10 pm in the backyard, and when her person went out to check on her about an hour later, Dulcina was missing. There were no sightings of Dulcina after she went missing. 

Since there are known coyotes in the area, Dulcina's person was convinced that her cat had been taken away by a coyote. However, we found a track leading away from the area, and all throughout a local golf course and the neighborhoods surrounding the golf course. There was even a sighting of Dulcina inside the golf course as we were walking through and talking to the staff. She was seen there about four days after she went missing. 

The search was called off at five and a half hours due to the extreme heat of over 90 degrees. She said she would continue to look for Dulcina.

"Chloe," Beagle/Pug Mix, Tan with Black Mask, Los Gatos

Cloe is a five year old fawn and black Puggle. When she went missing she was wearing her collar with ID tags and she was microchipped. 

She got loose by accident when the side gate got left open by a meter reader. 

There was a sighting of Cloe a couple of days later about a mile and a half from her home. She was spotted twice in the remote hillside where there were only a couple house. We started the search there. 

Dino picked up the track leading out of the remote hillside and eventually back down to the main area of Los Gatos and San Jose. We continued the search for several hours until it was called off due to lack of daylight.

They said they would continue to look for Chloe.
