"Bobo," Toy Poodle, 14 years, Orinda

Bobo is a 14 year old white toy poodle mix. He was let out into the back yard to use the restroom at 9 PM and unfortunately, his person fell asleep. When he woke up a couple of hours later, Bobo was no where to be found in the yard. The existing security cameras did not show him leaving the yard.

In my search of the very large yard on a hillside, I did find an opening under the deck where he could fit through and get out into the hillside behind the house. We started our search from that location.

I took Asia out to this area and off leash, I took her to this steep location and started the search. She immediately picked up a scent out of that location, up the steep hill that is open to the public, per Bobo's person. The track was up the hillside, around some trees and eventually back down and out to the main road leading past their house.

The track continued for several miles all around Orinda and Morgan Hill and to Rheem Shopping Center, where the search was stopped by Bobo's person.

The Strava map does show the track leading out to the shopping center, and unfortunately, I forgot to turn off the map when we drove back to their home. That is why the distance is so long, but it should be just out to the Rheem Shopping Center, where we stopped.

"Seamus," White with Orange DSH, San Francisco - FOUND!!!!

Seamus is a two and a half year old, indoor and outdoor, neutered, white with orange DSH cat who suddenly did not come home one evening from his regular time out in the local neighborhood, despite a regular schedule.

After an extensive search by Seamus' person, a sighting was discovered several days later at a nearby multi-family residence where Seamus had been seen hanging out at the front door in their courtyard for a couple of days after being missing. We started the search there.

The track Asia found led away from the building and down to Mission Street, and then all the way on Mission Street through Colma and into South San Francisco, changing into El Camino. Once we were in South San Francisco, the track led around several buildings and then around the Kaiser Permanente building on El Camino Real.

The search was stopped at this location at the four hour mark.

We did our search on a Sunday afternoon. On that following Tuesday, I received an email that Seamus suddenly walked into his cat door, very hungry and tired and disoriented!!!!
