"Grady," DSH, Grey, San Francisco - Found!

Grady at home on July 2 after being lost 64 days!

This is the ad placed in Craigslist by Grady's person after Grady was found:

"My Grady has been found after 64 days missing. Thank God he was micro-chipped as he was found by SF Animal Control on 44th Ave. & Irving street way across town. Who knows where he'd be if I had not updated his micro-chip.

I'd like thank all the neighbors in the Bay View District, SPCA, Jackie Phillips of Social Pet, Home Again Micro chip company and SF Animal Control for your tips, recommendations, support and allowing me to keep the faith, keep the faith , keep the faith & never give up that he will come home. Grady is now resting on my bed :-)

For those of you missing your pet, don't give up!

Peace & Love,

Grady & his dad."

Grady is an indoor only, nine year old, 10 lb. solid grey DSH. He is wearing a blue collar with an ID tag and he is microchipped.

He got out of the house by accident when a roommate let a door open for a few minutes.

There were several possible sightings of Grady, but only one person confirmed the blue collar, and it was known that another grey cat similar to Grady also lived in the area. We started at the only sighting that was definite she saw a blue collar on this cat.

We followed the track for many miles, and the search was stopped at the four hour minimum by Grady's person. He said he would continue to look for him.
