"Emma," Phalene, Tricolor, Orinda - Found!

________________________________________________________________

My Notes After the Search:

To prove how much of a piece of work Emma's person is, he has reported me to the US Copyright Department for using an already published image of Emma for this blog. One that was already published on Craigslist for several days without a care as to who was using the image. I use the exact same image in a professional blog that I was paid to perform, and suddenly he has an issue. Obviously, this person has some extreme personality issues, and has nothing else better to do in his life than spend time attempting to harass a single professional person, who he paid to come out to help find his dog.

Additionally, for this case blog, every single photo in every single blog has come off of Craigslist for the public posting of every lost pet. Not one single person in over four and a half years and 460 cases has ever made a comment or complaint. In fact, most people are extremely happy and grateful to have their pet's images in a public forum. So, for this one single person to be the only person to complain, obviously says something about his character and personality.

Case Notes:

Emma is an eight pound very shy Phalene, a Papillon look alike. She went missing late Wednesday evening while being walked by a neighbor while her person was on vacation. She was wearing a collar with ID tags and she was dragging a six foot leash. I was called at 1:30 AM on Friday by Emma's person. I contacted her at 7 AM. I offered to come out right away. The search was set for 11 AM, but it was cancelled by Emma's people, & rescheduled it for 1 PM. I arrived early to the search.

There were no sightings of Emma after she went missing. Since Emma was normally been walked all over the area with her person and with the dog walker, we had to first find her last known track leading out. We did not want to find old tracks. Emma's person said that this entire area had been checked by many people day and night since Emma went missing, but she was never seen.

We started checking the area for her last known track at her last known location, where she ran away from the dog walker, at the intersection of Barbara Road and Oak Road. This area is very high and remote hillsides with very narrow and twisty tight roads, densely populated with large homes.

While we were finding her most current track, another set of people were looking on other streets, in the area where she went missing.

While we were still checking the area for a current track, Emma's person received a call that Emma had been found. We started to walk back. I asked her where Emma had been found. She didn't know the exact location, but she said somewhere up on Barbara Road, where we had not checked yet. I asked her if that area had been already checked prior to me getting there, and she said yes.
