"Boomsa," Miniature Poodle, White, San Francisco - Found!

______________________________________________________________________

I received the following letter from one of Boomsa's people:

"We hired Jackie to search for our dog. She had been snatched off of the street. We hired Jackie two days after the kidnapping. She tracked the dog from The Excelsior District to Colma/South San Francisco. Approximately 9 miles total. Our dog was found 1/2 mile from the last point of tracking. This is amazing and no coincidence. Jackie is very focused and determined, which some might misinterpret as brusque. I highly recommend Jackie and Dino. We would never have searched in that area. Because of Jackie we were able to pinpoint the area for search and flyer posting.
THANK YOU Jackie and Dino!!"

Boomsa is a 13 year old spayed, female, white Miniature Poodle. She is not wearing a collar and she is not microchipped.

Boomsa disappeared while on a walk with her person, who stopped to help the other dog in the home, who was lagging behind. When the person came back to where she last saw Boomsa, she was gone. An extensive search of the area for several hours came up empty.

She went missing at 6 PM on a Monday. I came out Wednesday morning.

Boomsa and her person walk the area daily several blocks in every direction, so we had to first do an extensive perimeter search to find Boomsa's current track leading out. Dino found a track leading out, which was about a block and a half from where Boomsa was last seen.

It was eventually obvious that we were following a car route, and that Boomsa had been picked up in a car. Somewhere along the way, we were then following a track of a dog running loose since it was no longer following the path like a car.

The search was stopped and continued two days later on Friday, since I had already scheduled another search for the following day in Santa Rosa.

We re-started the search in the Mission District, and then the track went all the way into Colma and South San Francisco, where it was stopped again. She said she would continue to look for Boomsa.

We had scheduled a third day for Sunday, but I received a very excited call on Saturday afternoon that Boomsa had been found wandering loose in South San Francisco! She was picked up and the people saw the Craigslist ad and called!
