"Abby," Labrador, Black, Novato

Search Details:

Abby is an eight year old, female, 55 pound black Labrador. When she went missing she was wearing a collar with ID tags, but she was not microchipped.

Abby disappeared after being let out of the back door onto the deck, which leads to an unfenced open space with a steep hillside directly behind the house. Her person went into the home to answer the phone and care for a small child. When he came back out about 15 minutes later, Abby was not around. He called for Abby and walked around, but could not find her.

Abby went missing on Monday, January 13 and we came out to do the search on the following Sunday due to Abby's person's work schedule. That was the first day they were available to be home and provide child care.

After checking the entire area, Dino found the track leading out, down the street and out to San Marin Drive and then made a left. The track continued down San Marin Drive and then into a large local park. The track eventually left the park and then continued down Novato Blvd.

The search was stopped by Abby's person at the four hour mark. They said they would continue to look for her.
