"Doughy," DSH, Grey Tabby with White, Oakley

Search details:

Doughy (pronounced "Doe ee) is a six year old, female, indoor only, spayed, seven pound, grey tabby with white. When she went missing she was not wearing a collar, but she was microchipped.

Doughy was accidentally let out of the house when the side door in the garage was not fully shut after the garbage was taken out that morning. The two cats in the house both got out, and the other cat, Cookie, returned a couple of hours later, but Doughy never returned.

There were no sightings of Doughy after she went missing.

Doughy was missing for four days when we were called out to do the search.

We found a track leading away from the secluded suburban neighborhood and out to more rural roads, through a community center, back out, across streets and eventually down to a water canal.

The search was stopped by Doughy's people after five hours at a neighborhood park several miles away. They said they would continue to look for her.
